Overweight label

According to ISO regulations, containers with a maximum total weight (MGW) exceeding 30480kg are considered overweight and require a triangular overweight mark to be affixed outside the container. The mark has a triangular black border and a yellow background with black English font "SUPERHEAVY" printed on it.

Container marking for air land water intermodal transportation:

This symbol refers to the identification of containers that are suitable for air transportation and can be intermodal with ground transportation (such as road, railway, waterway). Although this type of container is the same as a regular shipping container, there are still some differences in its structural functions compared to regular shipping containers. For example, the strength of this type of container can only stack two layers, the bottom of the container can be washed, and there are top and bottom corner pieces.

Therefore, in order to distinguish it from other international standard containers, the International Organization for Standardization has designated a special mark for this container, which is black and located in the upper left corner of the side and end walls. The minimum size of the mark is: 127mm high, 355mm long, and the font height of the letter mark is at least 76mm.

Warning sign for electric shock on top of the box:

The mark is a yellow triangle with a bottom, usually located at the top of the tank container and the escalator on the top of the container, to warn passengers of the risk of electric shock.

International Union of Railways Mark:

The Regulations of the International Union of Railways have many specific requirements for the technical conditions of containers. Containers that meet these requirements can obtain the "International Union of Railways" mark, which means that the container has been recognized by the contracting countries of the "International Union of Railways". This mark is also an important traffic sign for transporting containers on European railways.

The upper part marked with "ic" represents the International Union of Railways, and the numbers in the lower part represent the codes of each UIC member. The IC mark on the box indicates which country's UIC certification the box has applied for, as shown in the following figure. The IC mark indicates that the box has applied for certification in France.

In addition to the identification marks and operation marks mentioned above, passage marks are also quite important. In order for containers to pass through or enter the borders of other countries smoothly during transportation, various passage marks required by regulations must be affixed to the container, mainly including the International Convention on the Safety of Containers (CSC), safety certification plate, container approval plate, inspection certification badge, insect proof treatment plate, etc. The passage marks are mostly etched on the container nameplate as shown in the figure below, and the nameplate is generally installed in a prominent position at the bottom left corner of the container door.

CSC Safety Qualified License

CSC stands for International Container Safety Convention. According to the provisions of the appendix of this annex, the CSC safety certification plate is generally etched on the container nameplate.

CCC clearance qualified license

CCC stands for International Container Customs Convention. The convention requires contracting parties to issue customs approval plates to newly manufactured containers that meet technical standards in order to transport goods internationally with customs seals. The contracting parties allow the aforementioned containers to enjoy temporary import treatment and exempt them from customs duties or deposits.

TCT approved license plate

TCT stands for wood epidemic prevention treatment. The TCT accreditation license refers to a wood epidemic prevention and treatment license recognized by the Australian Department of Basic Industry and Energy's Container Quarantine Inspection Procedure, which is a common requirement in countries such as Australia and New Zealand.

Classification Society Certification License

This certification indicates that this container complies with the container inspection regulations and related requirements of the classification society. The identification of classification societies varies among different countries, including China Classification Society (CCS) certification, France Classification Society (BV) certification, the United States Classification Society (ABS) certification, the United Kingdom Classification Society (LR) certification, and Germany (GL) certification.
